A beautifully fine yarn from the first cut of young Angora goats combined with a blend of mulberry silk. The coat of the Angora goat is sheared 1-2 times a year, our yarns are from a six-month shear - the so-called kidmohair, which is of higher quality. The silk gives the mohair a greater shine and even greater softness, so it is a luxury product and is suitable for even the most sensitive individuals. Mohair is very warm, has a lower abrasion strength than sheep wool, but very low pilling.
Composition: 70% kid mohair 30% mulberry silk, yarn has no superwash treatment, hand wash preferably with wool detergent. Gently wring out. Beware of temperature shocks!!!
The yarn should always be soaked before dyeing, ideally in water with vinegar or citric acid if it is to be dyed with acid-based dyes or at least with a mild detergent designed for woollen fabrics.

Recommended needle thickness: 3 - 4 mm (US 2-6)
Sample size: 10 x 10 cm = 32 stitches x 40 rows on 3.25 mm needles (US 3)
