Beautifully fine yarn from the first cut of young Angora goats in combination with a blend of extra fine merino. The coat of the Angora goat is sheared 1-2 times a year, our yarns are from a six-month shear - the so-called kidmohair, which is of higher quality. Merino wool has a superwash treatment, so it is a luxury product and is suitable for even the most sensitive individuals. Mohair is very warm, has a lower abrasion strength than sheep wool, but very low pilling.
Composition: 56% merino 19.5 micron and 44% kid mohairthe yarn has a superwash finish, machine washable on a very delicate programme in cold water with a wool detergent. Beware of temperature shocks!!!
The yarn should always be soaked before dyeing, ideally in water with vinegar or citric acid if it is to be dyed with acid-based dyes or at least with a mild detergent designed for woollen fabrics.

Recommended needle thickness: 2.5 - 4 mm (US 3)
Sample size: 10 x 10 cm = 28 stitches x 36 rows on 3.25 mm needles (US 3)
